Cedvel is a fast, native macOS app for browsing and editing PostgreSQL, MySQL and SQLite databases. One window per connection, keyboard first, and read only until you say otherwise.
Tables load a page at a time, with column widths worked out from the data. Filter with chips or plain SQL, jump along foreign keys and export to CSV, JSON or INSERT statements.
Run a query with ⌘ Return and edit the results in place. Suggestions come from the database in front of you, with history, saved queries and several tabs per database.
Add, rename and drop columns, change types and defaults, and manage indexes. Every change shows the statement it will run before it runs.
Production windows are tinted and open read only. Changes queue until you commit, and unlocking asks for the connection's name or Touch ID. Passwords live in the Keychain.
Works with PostgreSQL, MySQL and SQLite, directly or through an SSH tunnel.
